Daniel arrives in Beijing, where Mr. Han has been looking after him. Han has a new protégé, Li Fong. The two mentors must work together to teach Li Fong, but it remains to be seen if their teaching approaches are compatible. On November 21, 2023, Sony released a video featuring Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan, announcing that they would both return for the new film, as well as a worldwide casting search for the new title « Karate Kid ».
